This print transports me back to my 8th grade school field trip. We ventured to Boston, MA where I experienced my very first Whale Watch. This was a memorable event as I witnessed my first Whale sighting. I recall being mesmerized by the whales incredible size, extraordinary appearance, graceful demeanor and exuberant antics. It was on this trip that I learned a Whale employes a variety of techniques to communicate with other whales far off in the distance. Whether, fluking, breaching, or using its pectoral fin to slap, this species continues to take care of one another even if miles apart!
